Empire Lacrosse Camp was born on the playing fields of New York State. Camp directors Tim Price and Bobby Thompson learned the game while growing up in some of New York’s lacrosse hotbeds and played collegiate lacrosse in New York.
Price and Thompson have all become fixtures in the North Carolina lacrosse landscapes. Price is a former Division I head coach who founded the lacrosse program at Ardrey Kell High School. Thompson has guided Providence Day School to four NCISAA State Championship games, winning the school's only title in 2007.
In addition to their vast coaching experience, the directors of Empire Lacrosse Camp are all experienced educators. Aside from their understanding of the game of lacrosse, the camp directors all bring an understanding how young people learn.
