Coach Humphrey has been a positive influence in my life through the game of lacrosse. I started playing lacrosse in the 9th grade, but all the years of experience lost were quickly gained back when I met Coach Humphrey. I was taught defensive fundamentals, knowledge of the game, and the Long Island style of lacrosse. Coach Humphrey showed me that the same fundamentals and lessons learned in the game of lacrosse; can be carried over to the game of life. Coach Humphrey has the skills and life experience to challenge you to become a better person and student-athlete. His confidence in me motivated me to leave my hometown, play for a Division 1 program, and continue on as a coach at the collegiate level. I'm excited to see Coach Humphrey and the other coaches take on the challenge to create a fundamental camp. The youth will truly benefit from it like I did and the game of lacrosse will benefit as these players move on to the next level (college, professional, and/or coaching).
